A young Canadian aspiring to become a registered dietitian, currently in my fifth year of studies in human nutrition. My ambition is to help others by providing honest dietary information and practical resources. In my free time, I love to play volleyball, try new recipes, binge-watch comedies on Netflix, take photographs, and go outside. God is my anchor.

I have found the internet is abundant with ‘health and fitness’ blogs. Many are inspiring, some have merit, but few are rooted in evidence-based research. It’s easy to get swept away by the latest trends that seem to be healthy, but it’s more important to understand the truth behind them. Replacing butter with coconut oil, or sugar with honey, does not necessarily make your food better for you.

I hope I may inspire others with the recipes and information I post; maybe some will grow to be just as enthusiastic about health and nutrition as I am. With this blog, I invite you to join me on a journey to health and wellness as I share what I learn with you.
